Andrea Gerhardt

Andrea Gerhardt was born in Cologne, Germany, where she studied music from 1984-1991 and obtained her degree at Alanus Hochschule, Alfter. She came to Toronto in 1993 where she performed as a singer with various ensembles and established a vibrant piano studio. Her interest in healing and spiritual practice developed in 2005 when she participated in an introductory shiatsu course. Her search for a suitable shiatsu school led her to Living Earth Shiatsu School where she graduated in 2007. She continues to participate in post-graduate classes at Living Earth School and maintains her career as a classical musician, finding that the two professions complement and inspire each other in many ways.
